2010 Info
...what's up for our fifth year

Some Details on the Spring Break Clinic:

This is open to any youngster, age 7-17, boy or girl.  It is open to totally new ruggers, and returning players.  This is an introduction to rugby, and skill-building for our more experienced players.

The entire clinic is free of charge. There is no registration requirement.

The clinic is touch only; there will be no tackle drills or full-contact training or play. The emphasis of the clinic will be on basic rugby skills of ball handling, passing, player movement, basic plays and formations. We will conclude each training session with free-form touch scrimmages, set up and run on age-appropriate levels.

Equipment: Players should have studded sports shoes, sturdy shorts and a t-shirt or jersey. A mouthpiece is not required, but is strongly recommended for all players. Players should bring a large water bottle.

There is no requirement for attendance; players should come and stay for as long (or short) as they want, on the days that work best for them.

The coaches will be available at all times and after each day to talk with parents about the program and our upcoming summer season.

There will be goodies during the Friday evening social for the most improved and most dedicated players.

The Friday evening social will be like our regular, post-home-match socials. We’ll have drinks and burgers/dogs for all participants, siblings, and for moms and dads.
